1. Open Outlook and Click on "Tools" and open "E-mail Accounts"


2. Select "Add a new e-mail account"


3. Select "POP3"


4. User Information
    Your Name: Your real name or nickname
    E-mail Address: Your full e-mail address
For most customers this will be something@visionet.net.
Some of our long time customers will have an email address with the domain ending in .org
(example: something@visionet.org)

Server Information:
Incoming mail (POP3) server:
If your address ends in .NET use: pop.visionet.net
If your address ends in .ORG use: pop.visionet.org
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:
If your address ends in .NET use: mail.visionet.net
If your address ends in .ORG use: mail.visionet.org
    Logon Information
    User Name: Your full Visionet email address, with the "@visionet.net" or "@visionet.org
    Password: Your current email password

    Click "Next"


5. Click "Finish"

Congratulations! You have successfully configured Outlook 2002 to work with your Visionet email. To more fully maximize your Internet experience, we suggest you use the Visionet Set-up software. This gives you easy email setup, as well as other tools like our proxy server and Pop-Up Blocker.
