1. Open Netscape 7, under Windows select Netscape Mail & Newsgroups or press "CTL+2" keys".

   

2. Select Email account.
3. Click the Next button.

   

4. In the Your Name field, type in your name.
5. In the Email Address field, type your full Visionet email address.
   For most customers this will be something@visionet.net.
   Some of our long time customers will have an email address with the domain ending in .org
   (example: something@visionet.org)
6. Click the Next button.

   

7. Select POP.
8. In the Incoming Mail (POP3) field, type your Incoming mail server (POP):
   If your address ends in .NET use: pop.visionet.net
   If your address ends in .ORG use: pop.visionet.org
   
9. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) field, type your Outgoing mail server (SMTP):
   If your address ends in .NET use: mail.visionet.net
   If your address ends in .ORG use: mail.visionet.org
10. Click the Next button.

    

11. In the User Name field, type your full Visionet email address (e.g., johndoe@visionet.net).
12. Click the Next button.

    

13. In the Account Name field, type your full Visionet email address (e.g., johndoe@visionet.net).
14. Click the Next button.

    

15. Click the Finish button.

    

16. Close Netscape 7.

Congratulations! You have successfully configured Netscape 7 to work with your Visionet email. To more fully maximize your Internet experience, we suggest you use the Visionet Set-up software.
